I absolutely LOVE the color. It's so vibrant and Christmassy. (And it tasted great. In fact, I have to go make me some more this afternoon, because this batch is already long gone...)
I also made the Spiced Cranberry Nog. Now, I have never drunk Eggnog in my life, so I have no idea what that tastes like and can't say if this is anything like it (or even if it tastes like Eggnog with a cranberry twist), but I really liked this Spiced Cranberry Nog.
I also would like to try making cranberry juice. Preferably raw, so does anyone know if I can just juice cranberries to get cranberry juice? I popped them in smoothies before (frozen ones, they're like little round, red ice cubes ~ definitely going to use 'cranberry ice cubes for Christmas this year!), so I know you can eat them raw...
I googled 'cranberry juice recipe' by the way, and one of the results was this. O, really, that's how you make it?! Well, brilliant. Can't understand why I hadn't thought of that...

I have never had "nog" before either but that recipe sounds delicious!
I am now officially having a nog craving.
I'm not sure about juicing cranberries, but I don't see why it wouldn't work...
that sounds so cool and i love the color!
I love the color of cranberries too! I drink a cranberry flavored sparkling water sometimes that is so good.
Mmmmm Cranberry Soda, YUM!
Mmm, I need to switch from pumpkin to cranberry. It's just about that time. ;)
That cranberry drink looks so pretty!
And, BTW, you can definitely "juice" cranberries to get cranberry juice. Sometimes I juice a few to add to the O.J. that I make. It's really good!
Just keep in mind that they can be pretty strong on their own...
It looks so red and Christmassy! I love it!
Haha! That is the easiest cranberry juice recipe I've ever seen! :P
I love how cranberries are so festive... always makes me think of Thanksgiving and Chritmas.
Wow, those beverages look beautiful! Thank you so much for posting this. I've been looking for cranberry recipes to have on hand so when I buy a bunch of cranberries none of them will have to go to waste!
So glad I just found your blog. :)
ooh, if you decide to veganize the coconut tarts, be sure to let me know how they turn out!
jd, thanks! I will try it then.
Mrs LC, I hope you like the recipes; I did!
Pearl, I will!
Ook Sanja: eigenlijk... is Sanja mijn tweede naam. Mijn eerste naam is nog aparter. ;-)
Thanks! I'm in a cooking lull right now ( terrible, I KNOW) but when I get back into the vegan baking world I will definitely try it!
